FOOTBALL INFORMATION
Season:
8-game season. First game weekend of August 30-31st
Mighty Mites - Mighty Bowl at end of season
Divisions 1-3 Playoffs if eligible
COST:
$285 (includes personalized jersey)
$10 Player Verification (Through NSID)
A 20% discount is available to 3 or more siblings.
RAFFLE TICKETS:
Each player will receive $10 raffle tickets equal to their registration cost. You keep all the money that you collect on the tickets you sell. Sell them all your child plays for FREE!!!
DIVISIONS:

Mighty Mites 5-7yrs old
Division1 8-9 yrs old
Division 2 - 10-11yrs old
Division 3 - 12-14 yrs old (Must be 14 on or after August 1st)
PRACTICE:
Practices before school starts are 5 days a week.
After school has started:
MM & D1 can only practice a max of 3 days a week. 6pm-730pm
D2 & D3 can only practice a max of 4 days a week. 6pm-8pm
Coaches set the practice schedules.
PRACTICE LOCATION:
All football teams practice at our field located at 90 Cedar Avenue, New Windsor
Game Locations:
All home games are played at Newburgh Free Academy. We travel to teams in Orange County.
CHEERLEADING INFORMATION
SEASON:
8 game season. CheerFest event and playoff games if eligible.
COST:
$220 per cheerleader. This includes shoes, 2 bows, a t-shirt and bag for you to keep.

DIVISIONS:
DIVISIONS (Based on age as of November 1st)
Mighty Mites- ages 5,6,7 ( kindergarten,1st & 2nd grade)
Division 1- ages 8 & 9 (3rd & 4th grade)
Division 2- ages 10 & 11 (5th & 6th grade)
Division 3- ages 12 & 13 (7th & 8th grade) *(Can be 14 on or after August 1st but not entering 9th grade.)
Divisions can be combined depending on registration numbers.
PRACTICE:
Practices will be Mondays through Thursday from 6:00-7:45PM at Temple Hill Academy. Coaches will communicate as to which divisions will be practicing and on which days they will be practicing. In the months of September/October practices will be 2-3 days between Monday and Thursday depending on the division cheerleaders are in. August practices will be 3-4 days per week as we use this time prior to school and the upcoming season to get in as much practice as possible.
For the month of August your child must attend 75% of practices for the month in order to attend the 1st game of the season. If your child misses 4 or more practices in the month of August they will be asked to sit on the sidelines for that game.
If weather is an issue practice will be moved indoors to Temple Hill Academy. The call will be made by 4:00pm the latest if practice is moved or canceled for any reason.
Your child is to wear comfortable clothing and sneakers to practices. NO BOOTS, HIGH HEELS, JEANS OR ANY RESTRICTING CLOTHING. Additionally, no jewelry or nail polish can be worn at games as per OCYFL rules and regulations.
The sneakers you purchase are to be worn only for games and cheer fest. If you would like to order additional sneakers for practice that option is available
GAMES:
Home games are on Saturdays @ NFA's Academy Field.
Away games can be either Saturdays or Sundays depending on field availability.
You are to arrive 1 hour before game start time. Use bag provided to keep track of your cheer uniform items. Weather changes and we might need to add or take off articles of clothing. NO EATING IN UNIFORM. A bag will be provided all additional uniform pieces in.
*Game schedules are handed out mid August.
*Cheer fest is usually first weekend of November.
*Children MUST attend ALL practices the week before Cheerfest.
*We use the TeamSnap APP as a form of communication. It is split up for each division so you are able to communicate with your coach.
UNIFORM:
Your child is provided shell, skirt, crop, bloomers, jacket, and pants.
